Aeonium Decorum
The Aeonium Decorum is an elegant and refined succulent that truly lives up to its name. This species stands out with its compact rosettes displaying changing colors, carried on branching stems forming a bushy structure. Ideal for lovers of sculptural plants, it integrates perfectly in pots or dry garden beds.
Its foliage ranges from light green to dark red depending on exposure and water stress. The rosettes are smaller than those of giant Aeoniums but are numerous, creating a dense and harmonious visual effect. Aeonium Decorum can form small shrubs 30 to 50 cm tall and gradually spreads, creating a colorful living carpet.
When flowering, it produces a yellow or cream flower stalk adorned with many small star-shaped blooms. Like other Aeoniums, the rosette dies after flowering, but the plant continues developing thanks to multiple offsets.
